About This Session:
There has been considerable discussion lately around AI's supposed $600B problem; highlighting the gap between AI funding and AI revenue. Over the last 18 months, almost every technology company has been considering the potential impact of AI on their business, with many attempting to build and deploy their own AI products to capitalize on this new wave and take full advantage of the latest technology available. This effort is far easier said than done however, and the challenges are compounded when building for the enterprise, given the extra layers that need to be considered around privacy, security, permissioning, on prem vs cloud, etc. For that reason, we're very excited to have Sahir Azam, CPO at MongoDB (the $18B+ Developer Data Platform, which has built and launched several AI products over the past 18 months) joining us to do a candid reflection on his team's journey since the AI wave began, including:
- What they did well / got right
- What he would have done differently
- Challenges unique to building AI for the enterprise, and how they've solved (or are currently solving for) them
- Changes he's made (to his team, processes, metrics, tech stack, etc.) and what the various impacts of those changes have been
- How he's thinking about 2025 planning and beyond
There will also be plenty of time for Q&A, so come ready with your most top-of-mind questions.
